In 1996, as part of the International Women's Day celebrations in the community, we inaugurated an annual exhibit: Paths and Pathfinders: Women of Mission.
This program was established to collect, preserve, and provide access to materials which document the lives and contributions of women, past and present, in the District of Mission, Hatzic Prairie, Hatzic Island, Dewdney, Deroche, Nicomen Island, Lake Errock and McConnell Creek.
