We are committed to assisting everyone who contacts us, but because we are a volunteer-based operation with limited hours of operation, it can sometimes take time to process an individual request.
You may access the Archives in-person or by phone, mail and email. Due to our limited hours of operation and current visitor capacity restrictions due to the pandemic, it is recommended that individuals planning to visit the archives contact staff well ahead of time to book an appointment.
Please note for non-residents a donation is required to cover administration costs. Reference Services staff and volunteers will assist you with your research and provide you with resources relevant to your request. Under special circumstances, Reference Services staff and volunteers will also research a topic for local and non-residents. A fee may be required for this service.
Reproductions of materials are available conditional upon any donor or copyright restrictions and the fragility of the material. Users will be charged fees to offset costs associated with providing the reproduction(s). For further details please
email us.
Support the Archives!
Operated by the Mission District Historical Society, a non-profit organization, the Mission Community Archives welcomes your financial support to advance our programs and services. Your donation will help us to preserve and provide better access to the community's documentary heritage.
